Driver's Training Program- 6 hours
This is divided into three, 2-hour lessons. Students
will learn basic driving skills to operate a motor vehicle safely and
proper driving techniques. We will also include an introduction to defensive driving and DMV
drive test preparation. We provide free home, school or work pick-up and return. Lessons offered
Monday through Saturday.
completion, students will be issued a certificate (OL238) as
required by the DMV. Student will also receive a written evaluation of their driving performance.
Our Instructors :
We have a high-caliber staff of instructors. Our instructors are licensed by the state of CA and have a passed a DMV, background investigation. We have male and female instructors who speak English and Spanish. All of our instructors have a genuine concern for traffic safety and are dedicated to helping you develop the necessary skills to become a defensive driver.
Driver's Training Vehicles:
Late model Honda Civics, and Toyota Corolla, 4-door. Dual control brake and mirror on instructor side of vehicle. All training cars are automatic transmission. Small "Student Driver" stickers on each
door and back bumper.
We conduct our lessons using the piggy-back system. At the end of the first student's lesson, we may pick up the next student who will then drive the first student home. The instructor will conduct a demonstration drive back to first student's home if the next student does not have driving experience. Completely private lessons available for extra fee.

**Students who are at least 15 1/2 and have completed Driver's Education are eligible to begin Driver's Training (on student license with Bay Area Driving School). You do NOT need to have a Learner's Permit to begin Driver's Training.
